Katie Knab


A recovering architect, Katie most recently produced the short documentary FLUTTER, which premiered at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival and the 2013 SXSW Film Festival domestically. She is also a recent Film Independent Producer’s Lab Fellow for the feature project RESONANCE, also the recipient of the Tribeca Film Institute Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Grant. Katie is currently producing her feature, BLACK SUN, which chronicles a rebellious playboy’s demise amongst the Lost Generation in 1920’s Paris. When not working in the world of independent film, she produces global TV campaigns for BMW, Clinique, Hershey’s, Jergens, and John Frieda. Katie lives in New York City.

Chris Ciancimino


Chris is a graduate of the University of Manchester and NYU’s Tisch Film program. Previously Head of Development for UK production company Portobello Pictures (KOLYA, BIRTHDAY GIRL, THE WAR ZONE), Chris started production company WOODSHED ENTERTAINMENT with business partner Kevin Connors in 2007. Chris wrote and produced THE NORMALS starring Bryan Greenberg and Jess Weixler and produced BRIEF INTERVIEWS WITH HIDEOUS MEN, written and directed by John Krasinski. As a writer/director, Chris has made a number of short films. THE EDGE OF TOWN, starring Will Oldham and Ivan Martin, won a Fotokem award for best screenplay and was officially selected for the Woodstock Film Festival 2008 and Raindance Film Festival 2009. Chris was also the founding editor of Shooting People’s New York chapter. Chris is a member of the WGA.

Laura Dopp


Drawn to the development of artists and their audience, Laura began her career in artist representation at Radical Media in NYC, working closely with photographers to edit portfolios and coordinate shoots for top brands. Drawing on her degree in art history and museum studies, and crossing over the lines between art and commerce, she has since represented over 60 artists internationally. In 2010, Laura organized exhibitions and programming as Head of Sales/Asst Director of Vietnam’s premiere contemporary art gallery, Art Vietnam Gallery in Hanoi. Most recently, she spent two years in Los Angeles representing a select roster of top commercial photographers, including the legendary Douglas Kirkland. Laura has recently re-located to

Brooklyn, New York to start her own agency and production company.
